Analysis of Grievance Regarding MGKVP Examination Form Submission

This post analyzes the grievance filed by Mahesh Pratap Singh alias Yogi M. P. Singh (Registration No.: GOVUP/E/2024/0092467) concerning the online examination form submission process for Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) University, Varanasi.
Specifically, the core issue revolves around a student’s inability to submit their Odd Semester examination form due to a registration ID error, which has resulted in considerable frustration and anxiety among the affected students.
This situation has not only hindered their academic progress but has also raised broader questions about the efficiency and reliability of the university’s digital infrastructure.
Furthermore, there are significant concerns about the limited submission window for the MGKVP Examination Form, which exacerbates the issue, as many students find themselves racing against time to correct their registration details and submit their forms within an exceedingly short timeframe, further complicating what should be a straightforward process.

Grievance Overview

The complainant, on behalf of the student Bhoomika Singh, a B.Sc. Bio First Semester student at KBPG College, Musffarganj, Mirzapur, highlights, furthermore, a crucial technical and administrative disconnect during the MGKVP Examination Form process.
This disconnect not only creates significant confusion among the students, leading to anxiety and frustration, but also raises concerns about the transparency and efficiency of the examination procedures in place.
Many students, including Bhoomika, have found themselves navigating a complex maze of technical requirements and unclear guidelines, which ultimately jeopardizes their ability to participate meaningfully in their academic assessments.
Such procedural shortcomings necessitate immediate attention to ensure that the integrity of the examination system is upheld and that all students have equal access to the necessary resources and support.

The Core Problem: Invalid Registration ID

The primary roadblock identified in the grievance, therefore, is the Registration ID: 2425030540 provided by KBPG College on the student’s miscellaneous fee receipt during the MGKVP Examination Form submission process.
This specific Registration ID appears to be the source of considerable confusion and frustration among students, as it is a crucial part of the examination registration that validates enrollment and eligibility.
Many students have reported discrepancies related to this ID, which has led to delays in processing their examination forms and, in some cases, outright rejections.
The situation highlights a deeper systemic issue at KBPG College regarding how registration information is communicated and managed, which merits further investigation to ensure that future students do not face similar impediments.
As such, addressing this concern is essential not only for the resolution of the current complaint but also for the improvement of the overall administrative process within the institution.

  • When the student attempted to use this ID to submit the online examination form on the official MGKVP portal, the system displayed an “student data not found” error message.
  • The complainant confirms that no other registration number was provided by the college administration; consequently, this left the student unable to proceed with the mandatory examination form submission.

Conflicting Examination Form Deadlines

The grievance also raises concerns about the tight and potentially changing deadlines for the online examination form submission for Odd Semester undergraduate courses, which is causing a significant amount of stress and confusion among students.
As the deadlines remain unclear and are subject to sudden alterations, many students are left struggling to complete their forms on time, ultimately impacting their ability to appear for the exams.
Furthermore, this situation complicates their academic planning and raises doubts about the overall management of the MGKVP Examination Form timetable, which is crucial for ensuring a smooth examination process.
It is imperative that the authorities address these issues promptly to alleviate student concerns and foster a conducive learning environment.

  • First Circular (Dated 3rd December 2024): Firstly, it suggested a submission window from 4th December 2024 to 9th December 2024.
  • Second Circular (Dated 9th December 2024): Announced an extension; specifically, it stated that the new dates were from 10th December 2024 to 15th December 2024.

Given that the grievance was filed on 17th December 2024, both advertised deadlines for the Odd Semester exam form submission had already passed; consequently, this places the student’s academic future in jeopardy. Moreover, they were prevented from submitting the form through no fault of their own.

Key Questions and Accountability Demanded

The complainant seeks a comprehensive resolution from the government authorities, invoking Article 51A of the Constitution of India, which emphasizes the fundamental duties of citizens, and demands clarity on the following critical points related to the MGKVP Examination Form:
the eligibility criteria for submission,
the deadlines for application,
the process for addressing discrepancies in the form,
and the guidelines for candidates facing difficulties in obtaining necessary documents. Furthermore, the complainant emphasizes the importance of transparent communication from the authorities to ensure that all students have a fair opportunity to participate in the examination process without any undue stress or confusion.

  1. Will MGKVP issue a new deadline extension to submit the online examination form, especially considering the technical issues encountered by students?
  2. When will the correct and functional registration number be made available by the college administration (KBPG College) or the university (MGKVP) to ensure students can successfully access the online submission portal?
  3. Accountability: Specifically, which accountable staff member of the government or the university system will, therefore, address and resolve this issue impacting student enrollment and examination eligibility?

The timely resolution of this grievance is, therefore, paramount for the student to appear for their upcoming B.Sc. First Semester examinations. Moreover, the mismatch between the college-issued registration ID and the university portal requirements is, consequently, a critical administrative flaw that needs immediate rectification to facilitate the proper submission of the MGKVP Examination Form.

This is an analysis of a public grievance and does not constitute an official response or action taken by the concerned authorities.

Whether it is not ridiculous two times last date has been passed but because of mismanagement students could not submit their examination forms for the registration to appear in the examination. Think about the gravity of the situation whatever is not visible to them.

Now a new problem has arisen that student data is not available. If the registration id made available during the admission of the students is not working then this question arises that whether new registration id will be provided by the college administration but it has not been made clear by the concerned accountable staff.

Think about the credibility of circulars issued by the controller of examination and the registrar of the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University Varanasi. Two times they have declared the last date for the submission of the application for the registration of the examination and it expired. The mismanagement is that still they are not inviting application forms on the portal of the university because of missmanagement.
