Grievance Description

Station house officer police station Vindhyachal is failed to provide justice to women and girls because he has been habitual not to register first information report of victims if belong to vulnerable section. Police in Mirzapur district says that if victim wants to get justice then she must take shelter in the court of law because justice is not available through police in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Superintendent of police district Mirzapur must tell the applicant if the Vindhyachal police took the application of the applicant then why has Vindhyachal police not mentioned the name of the applicant in the non cognizable report.

It is quite obvious that the applicant was mercilessly beaten by the offenders in which the bone of the hand finger was fractured, serious injury caused on the forehead of the applicant as well as many internal and external injuries by the offenders which is under a surgery and treatment by a surgeon in Government hospital Allahabad report attached to the grievance.

Right to reason is the indispensable part of sound administrative system so police must provide the reason where is the non cognizable report or first information report registered by the station house officer police station Vindhyachal?

Most respected sir, the applicant is not satisfied with the arbitrary report of circle officer Nagar because he has upheld the biased approach of the Vindhyachal police in the matter.

- Definition: Section 117(1) defines voluntarily causing grievous hurt as causing hurt with the intention or knowledge that grievous hurt is likely to be caused.

- Punishment: Section 117(2) stipulates the punishment for voluntarily causing grievous hurt, with imprisonment of up to seven years and a fine.

Specific Provisions on Grievous Hurt (Section 116 of BNS):

- Section 116 explains the kinds of hurt designated as grievous, including emasculation, permanent privation of sight or hearing, privation of a member or joint, destruction or permanent impairing of the powers of any member or joint, permanent disfiguration of the head or face fracture or dislocation of a bone or tooth any hurt which endangers life or which causes the sufferer to be during the space of fifteen days in severe bodily pain, or unable to follow his ordinary pursuits.

Most respected sir, The applicant is the victim of the case and she was seriously injured by the offenders. Bone of the finger of the hand was fractured because of the assault of the offenders and applicant faced serious injuries on the head quite obvious from the medical report provided by the government hospital in Allahabad. The applicant is still undergoing treatment and under supervision of a surgeon in the Government hospital Allahabad. The ulterior motive of the accountable staff of the police station Vindhyachal is quite obvious from the fact that the name of the victim was not included in the non cognizable report written by the staff of the Vindhyachal police station arbitrarily. The working of the police at Vindhyachal police station was biased quite obvious from non transparency in the working of the police. Think about the gravity of the situation, The police are suggesting to my husband that he may talk when the phone came from Lucknow. He is satisfied with the work of the police. Whether the such working style of the police is not surprising.

Think about the arbitrary and inconsistent report of the station house officer police station Vindhyachal whose any record does not mention the name of Mahima Maurya who is the main victim of the case. Public information officer in the office of Director General of police must provide the government orders, circulars and office memos which allow a station house officer not to mention the name of the main victim in a non-cognizable report or first information report. It is quite obvious that in this serious offence, concerned police did not register the first information report which is showing the biased approach of the police concerned. Non cognizable report of the police does not include the name of Mahima Maurya which is showing the arbitrariness of the police in dealing with the matter and such biased approach of the police can never be instrumental in providing justice to the vulnerable section especially women and girls in providing justice. Why did police not register FIR?

  1. Tha steep hike in crimes against women and girls is because of the rampant corruption in the working of the police because of the corruption in the police in the state of Uttar Pradesh as police are not registering the first information report of women and girls.
