It is third August 2022 and RTI request was submitted on 02 June 2022 which means after two months, executive engineer EDD II District-Mirzapur did not provide information to the information seeker. According to subsection 1 of section 7 of the Right to Information Act 2005, public information officer had to provide the sought information within stipulated 30 days as prescribed under subsection 1 of section 7 of the Right to Information Act 2005 but he failed to provide information in two months which is a mockery of the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2005. 

सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम 2005 की धारा 7 की उपधारा 1 के अनुसार, लोक सूचना अधिकारी को सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम 2005 की धारा 7 की उपधारा 1 के तहत निर्धारित 30 दिनों के भीतर मांगी गई जानकारी प्रदान करनी थी, लेकिन वह सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम 2005 के तहत जानकारी प्रदान करने में विफल रहा क्योकि अब दो महीने से ज्यादा समय बीत गए जो सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम 2005 के प्रावधानों का मजाक है। 

Factual position is that sought information concerns corruption in the working of the public authority so public information officer is running away from providing information to the information seeker. They know well that if they will provide information, their corrupt deeds will be exposed in the public consequently they are avoiding to provide sought information to the information seekers. 

तथ्यात्मक स्थिति यह है कि मांगी गई सूचना लोक प्राधिकरण के कामकाज में भ्रष्टाचार से संबंधित है, इसलिए लोक सूचना अधिकारी सूचना चाहने वाले को सूचना प्रदान करने से दूर भाग रहा है। वे अच्छी तरह से जानते हैं कि यदि वे जानकारी प्रदान करेंगे, तो उनके भ्रष्ट कार्य जनता के सामने उजागर होंगे, फलस्वरूप वे सूचना चाहने वालों को मांगी गई जानकारी प्रदान करने से बच रहे हैं। 

First appellate authority may take appropriate action against public information if he is honest and may be instrumental in providing information to the information seeker.
