Demand draft of two hundred was sought from state bank of India in order to pay the fee for renewal of driving licence but when RTO Mirzapur denied accepting the DD and consider an offline request for renewal of driving licence, then the applicant had no option except to encash the returned demand draft to the account opened in the state of India.
It is most unfortunate that the applicant had submitted the Demand draft two weeks earlier to city branch Mirzapur of state bank of India in order to encash it into the account of the applicant as aforementioned but the concerned bank staffs still procrastinating on the matter instead of taking any concrete action. Think about the gravity of the situation that Demand draft issued by state bank of India couldn’t be encashed by it into the account of the applicant within two weeks and suppose that if the matter is of the other bank, how much time will be taken by the state bank of India?
Such is the position of our premium bank, think about the other banks. Earlier state bank of India took more than one months in issuing demand draft and latter 21 days when the application was made repeatedly. Normally banks provide demand draft next day of a request or on the same day. It is most surprising that still, few are claiming to provide good governance.
With this communication, scanned copy of the demand draft and denial letter of the RTO Mirzapur is attached in the PDF form. Please take a glance at the attached document.
                               With these few letters, I end the representation with expectations that concerned will take seriously in order to reform and overhaul its dilapidated dealings causing both physical and mental pain to consumers.
