Grievance Description : Matter is concerned with the North-Central Railway- Allahabad Division. Subject-Ticket was cancelled but charges were not refunded by concerned and subordinates of Hon’ble Avinash Kumar Shukla posted at Allahabad junction at responsible post humiliated your applicant before him but he couldn’t speak single word and when your applicant asked to make complaint with Railway minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu ji, then he also undermined the authority of Hon’ble minister of Railways. Most revered Sir –Your applicant invites the kind attention of Hon’ble Sir with due respect to following submissions as follows. 1-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that your applicant took ticket from window at 9:49 today for journey from Allahabad Junction to Mirzapur Railway station and your applicant was charged for it Rs.60.00 and arrival time of train Purusottam Express was reported 11:05 AM. 2-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that after some moments, it was reported that aforementioned train will remain one hour late i.e. it will arrive at Allahabad Junction at 12:05 PM and again reported half hour more late which caused your applicant irritated because your applicant had some important job at the home Mirzapur. 3-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that ticket is attached with this representation is cancelled obvious from the stamp put on it but it is unfortunate that concerned didn’t refunded the charges taken for providing services. Your applicant suffered loss because of non cooperating approach of concerned staffs of Allahabad Junction Railway station and they illegally withheld Rs.60 which was obliged to be returned back after cancellation of ticket. In emergency your applicant had to return by bus. 4-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that they must be directed to refund the amount charged for ticket and provide compensation for causing mental trauma and humiliation in public. This is a humble request of your applicant to you Hon’ble Sir that how can it be justified to withhold public services arbitrarily and promote anarchy, lawlessness and chaos in an arbitrary manner by making the mockery of law of land? There is need of hour to take harsh steps against the wrongdoer in order to win the confidence of citizenry and strengthen the democratic values for healthy and prosperous democracy. For this, your applicant shall ever pray you, Hon’ble Sir. Yours sincerely Kishan Patel
