In regards to complaint number: 579551, your applicant cum customer is not satisfied with the way of redressal of the grievances causing unnecessarily multiple grievances on the same subject. The applicant is seeking the refund because the defective items are not sold at the same prices as the new one. Either the product may be replaced by a non-defective item or charged at the rate as Amazon online buy the old and defective items during the exchange offer. One thing is clear as I have already quoted in the earlier communications that I am not expert of packaging the articles so how can company staffs impose own responsibility of delivery/ order/ replacement on the customer. Consequently, if the company can’t substitute defective item by non-defective, then refund the amount charged, by deducting for the defective item. This has reference to your complaint no. 585883 filed with the National Consumer Helpdesk, in relation of your order having order ID 405-0305489-3945144 placed with an independent third party seller on www.amazon.in (“Website”). On a review of the complaint, we find that you want to return the product and accordingly, wanted a refund. It is clarified that the seller will initiate refund only after receipt of the product as per policy (Returns Policy: https://tiny.amazon.com/w94kbe91/amazingphelpcustdispref). You are therefore requested to self-return the product before expiry of the return window and provide the proof of delivery to the customer support team so that the appropriate resolution can be processed to you at the earliest. In view of the above, the issue stands closed from our end. Further, it is submitted that our role is limited to that of a facilitator and we are not the seller/manufacturer, the products listed on our Website are sold by independent third party sellers.
