Why telecom regulatory authority of India is not curbing the arbitrary dealings
of service providers like Airtel and others who are openly violating the
consumer rights of citizenry?

With due respect your applicant wants to draw the kind attention of the Hon’ble
Sir to the following submissions as follows.
1-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that how can it be justified that
S.M.S. Services of telephone/mobile subscriber be blocked by service provider
company airtel merely on the basis that he only subscribes the GPRS services
Rs.247.00 (three G B Data having validity 28 days) ? Whether service provider
company tells its consumers that if he will have zero balance ,then SMS
services on the sim card would be blocked.

2-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that internet settings on mobile ,

i-pad/Tablet is sent by S.M.S. on the hand set /i-pad/Tablet of consumer by the
service provider company. Whether it is feasible that internet settings can be
sent on those sets on which SMS services are blocked. Whether this is not
tyranny on the part of service provider company and incompetency of telecom
regulatory authority of India. If the services provided by the company be of
third grade ,then it must be right of consumer that he may get back his prepaid
service charge from the company but no such facility is available in this
country.

3-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that whether consumer interest is safe
in this vast democracy in the world. The job of telecom regulatory authority of
India is to monitor the working these service provider companies of India so
that legitimate tariff of services could be charged from subscribers and
consumers interests of citizenry be safeguarded but it seems that such body is
either teeth -less or full of incompetent man powers or acting in caucus with
the staffs of company.

This is humble request of your applicant to you Hon’ble Sir that It can never
be justified to overlook  the rights of citizenry by delivering services in
arbitrary manner by floating all set up norms. This is sheer mismanagement
which is encouraging wrongdoers to reap benefit of loopholes in system and
depriving poor citizens from right to justice. Therefore it is need of hour to
take concrete steps in order to curb grown anarchy in the system. For this your
applicant shall ever pray you Hon’ble Sir.

                  ‘Yours  sincerely

                  Yogi M. P. SinghMohalla-Surekapuram, Jabalpur Road District-Mirzapur , Uttar Pradesh ,India .

  1. Whether it is justified that on complaints of consumers no action may be taken against the erring staff of companies. This is signal of a failed government. This is sheer incompetency of our accountable public functionaries.

Here most important is incoming SMS services. Most surprising is that incoming SMS are not on sim but according to records of the Erring company SMS service is active.
