The stagnant water and of it’s drainage flow is stopped by the bridge workers as they have have not removed the debris dumped there for many months. Now this is becoming a barrier to stop the drainage water and stagnant in the village. They have put several tons of waste and debris in it and it is difficult to remove. It may require one lorry to dispose it. Now the poisonous snakes are staying there and roaming out spotted by many villagers. It may kill any persons or cattle, goat and dogs any time and require immadiate attention. There is a chance of dengue from the stagnant water for more than six months.
2020/1084741/VK Sir/madam, I am government servant working in mining department and now in tirunelveli district Nanguneri taluk for the issue of Covid 19 and lockdown in Chennai. I spent my one month and more in village of pattarpuram and involved in social service of cleaning and increasing depth and width of water flow ways to pond. Some of the school students were involved with proper social distance in cleaning works and etc. The drainage is also going in along with this rain water ways. The half done bridge workers stopped the water flow of drainage and rain water in the month of November for bridge works near enasamy koil and have not removed the barrier to water flow. This barrier made now the whole area with bad smell in the stagnant water. I request you to remove all the barriers, construction and garbages in the water flow directions of rain water and give health security to the people of village. We have limited energy to remove them and help us in removing other sand barriers. Forwarded to the concerned officer for necessary action
