Grievance Description : Please take action in accordance with the rule of law so that faith of people may be revived in the system.Subject-Disproportionate assets of a gram pradhan, from the known source of her family’s income, indicate something wrong. Most revered Sir –Your applicant invites the kind attention of Hon’ble Sir with due respect to following submissions as follows. 1-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that undoubtedly a gram pradhan is a public servant accountable for developmental activities of village panchayat which is the smallest unit of development being carried out in this largest democracy in the world. If all public servants are expected to provide details of their assets, then why not expected from a gram pradhan? 2-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that matter is concerned with lady gram pradhan Nirmala Maurya W/O Prahlaad Maurya, Village Panchayat-Purva Avsaan, Village-Veerpur, development block-Haliya, District-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. Aforesaid lady remained gram pradhan of aforesaid village panchayat from 2005 to 2010 and now from 2015 onwards. Initially, she used to collect dry woods from the nearby forest in order to earn a livelihood for the family but today she has a grand pucca house which price is more than thirty lakhs, four wheeler, and two two-wheelers as well as other luxury items with bank balance not feasible for the ordinary household. Here Nirmala Devi is only symbolic as her husband Prahlaad Maurya is king without a crown. 3-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that whether it is not surprising that a gram pradhan earlier collecting dry woods for the livelihood now accumulated millions of rupees? Whether post of gram pradhan has been so creamy that village panchayat remains as such but its gram pradhan becomes a millionaire? Whether public fund meant to the development of village panchayat is subjected to the discretion of gram pradhan that either he/she may use this public fund for its own interest or public interest? Imagine about the vulnerability of villagers whose shares are being looted by concerned public servants and in this anarchy, they are without teeth and nails. This is a humble request of your applicant to you Hon’ble Sir that how can it be justified to withhold public services arbitrarily and promote anarchy, lawlessness, and chaos in an arbitrary manner by making a mockery of law of land? There is need of the hour to take harsh steps against the wrongdoer in order to win the confidence of citizenry and strengthen the democratic values for healthy and prosperous democracy. For this, your applicant shall ever pray you, Hon’ble Sir. Yours sincerely Shreekrishna Tripathi S/O Mata Deehal Tripathi MOBILE NUMBER-9793724720, gram panchayat-Purva Avsaan, Village-Magarvila, Development block-Haliya, District-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.
