Airtel mobile company Uttar Pradesh East Customer Complained regarding he recharged an airtel number twice with Rs. 99/- though Paytm and asking for the reversal of 2nd recharge and refund in his Paytm A/C. As checked, already informed the customer that the recharge was done through Paytm (3rd party website) and can not be reversed and the amount cannot be refunded in his Paytm A/C.

As per new RBI guidelines, anybody is mandated to refund only to the original payment source, the Refund has to be made by the Airtel company to the original payment source which means Paytm wallet of the applicant. Ipso facto obvious that still Airtel company is only procrastinating on the issue and avoiding the refund on flimsy ground. I don’t think that waiver like words suit to Airtel company as quite obvious that payment made cryptically from the Paytm wallet of the applicant Airtel company is staking an indirect claim over that amount. Customer Complained regarding he recharged an airtel number twice with Rs. 99/- though Paytm and asking for the reversal of 2nd recharge and refund in his Paytm A/C. As checked, already informed the customer that the recharge once done cannot be cancelled, reversed and transferred and also benefits cannot be taken back as there is no option for the same. It can only be compensated in the form of talk time balance to regard the customer that too on same recharged airtel number. As the Customer is not ready for the same case closed.

How have they taken charges when no services were provided to subscriber? But because of corruption nothing is impossible in this largest democracy in the world.
Undoubtedly we are facing precarious situation and most surprising is that public functionaries after drawing huge salary from public exchequer making efforts to increase the back door income. Think about the public offices where clerk openly asks bribe in order to perform its duty. How the system will be reformed if no incumbent is making efforts to correct the wrong practice rampant in the public offices.
