Banking Division. Undoubtedly matter concerned with the delivery of RuPay card
now over as applicant received from the branch manager city and pros and cons
will be subject during the hearing before commission.

grievance is delivery of invalid RuPay card by the branch manager concerned to
the the applicant. On 04-07-2019 applicant received an invalid RuPay card from
the branch manager city branch of State Bank of India which was proved today
when the applicant made efforts to generate PIN at the ATM just before the main
branch of the state bank of India. The staffs of the main branch S.B.I.
Mirzapur suggested that it is to be activated by the city branch so made
application before them. ATM PIN could not be generated through S.M.S. even
after 100 attempts made by the applicant. ATM PIN could not be generated
through IVRS even after 100 attempts made by the applicant. Matter is concerned
with the ATM Card made available by the branch manager state bank of India,

Grievance Description-The job of state bank of
India to deliver the ATM Card to account at home through post. According to
superintendent of the post, for delivery of the ATM card, address of the
account holder must contain the name of spouse or guardian in order to ensure
secure delivery but according to lady branch manager of city branch Mirzapur no
need of the name of the spouse or guardian as letter can be delivered if name
of individual and his address is available. Therefore state bank of India only
write the name of individual and the address concerned without the name of
spouse and department of post returns the posts to the sender and latter these
ATM Cards reach to parent branches where bargaining takes place so need of hour
is to carry out a transparent and accountable inquiry. What is the cause of non
delivery of ATM cards reaching at parent branches. Why not branch manager is
made accountable for non delivery of ATM Card on the large scale. If the name
of spouse is must for delivery of ATM card, then why not concerned branch
manager is being punished for the dereliction of the duty. Vide attached PDF

Next grievance is delivery of invalid RuPay card by the branch manager concerned to the the applicant. Here it is confirmed that applicant suffered a lot because of the negligence of the staff of the State Bank of India which is quite obvious from the post because if they had mentioned the name of the spouse in the address written on the envelope then such difficulties could be avoided at the early Stage but could not be done so because of the dereliction staff of the State Bank of India which is quite obvious from the post.

Undoubtedly those drawing huge salary are no more interested in performing the duties and in this case it is quite obvious. When it was must to write the name of the spouse on the envelope, then why it was not written by the concerned staffs and most surprising is that its staff was saying that there is no need of spouse name which means state bank of India will not write the name of spouse and department of Post will return it to the state bank of India and concerned consumer will suffer and accountable public functionaries will remain mute spectators.
