(h) Signature / Left Thumb Impression should only be within the box provided in the acknowledgement. The signature should not be on the photograph affixed on right side of the form. In case of non-individual PAN applicants, the acknowledgement receipt shall be signed by the authorized signatory (Karta in case of HUF, Director in case of Company, Partner in case of Partnership Firm / LLP, Trustee in case of Trust and Authorized signatory in remaining categories). The signature should not be on photograph. If there is any mark on photograph such that it hinders the clear visibility of the face of the applicant, the application will not be accepted.
Signature / Left hand thumb impression should be provided across the photo affixed on the left side of the form in such a manner that portion of signature/impression is on photo as well as on acknowledgement.
(i) Thumb impression, if used, should be attested by a Magistrate or a Notary Public or a Gazetted Officer under official seal and stamp.
Signature / Left hand thumb impression should be provided across the photo affixed on the left side of the form in such a manner that portion of signature/impression is on photo as well as on acknowledgement.
Hon’ble Sir -Here it is obvious that either signature or Left thumb impression is essential but not both so in my case both have been provided.
If concerned are harassing me deliberately ipso facto obvious from the cryptic dealings, then nothing could be said here. Otherwise applicant is graduate so its signature is provided is enough in order to process the PAN Card in accordance with the provisions as well as receipt made available from website does not make such nonsense compulsory, instead of procrastinating on flimsy ground.
Undoubtedly man dominated Indian society has no regard for women otherwise a proper enquiry may be ordered and those accountable must be subjected to appropriate proceedings as required by the law of land.
Sir when most of the documents are submitted online including photo signature and fee submission, then why concerned are harassing a woman. An FIR may be lodged in the matter and accountability of the concerned staffs may be ensured/checked.
Please help Sir. For this the applicant shall ever pray you, Hon’ble Sir.
                                                                                       Your sincerely

Why did CPIO Department of income tax of India not provide the information in regard to aforementioned points? Its answer is simple that no department in the government of India advocates transparency and accountability which is root cause to withhold the sought information from information seekers.

Undoubtedly working style of the concerned public authority is to harass to citizenry ipso facto obvious but it is unfortunate that those claiming to be champion among administrators are failed to curb the lawlessness and anarchy from the government machinery. Only to cry on public platforms can't convert misrule into good governance therefore they must think the public knows every thing and it teaches appropriate lesson to perpetrators of the anarchy.
