Grievance Description : It is confirmed that no action is taken on the grievance letters forwarded by the chief minister office to Managing director Uttar Pradesh power corporation limited as obvious from the attached R.T.I. Communique sent to PIO ,UPPCL. Undoubtedly the matter is concerned with the state government i.e. Government of Uttar Prdesh but because of anarchy in the government of Uttar Pradesh and procrastination and lackadaisical approach of public authority UPPCL in regard to redress of grievance of aggrieved consumers ,your applicant sought your intervention as set norm is being openly floated by the concerned staff.  Date of Action 30 Oct 2015 Details Reference to the above cited representation/petition. 2. As mentioned in the front page of the PG CPGRAM Portal All grievances relating to State Governments Union Territory Administrations and Government of NCT Region of Delhi, are to be redressed by the State UT NCT Government concerned. Citizens are advised to take up matter regarding pendency of their grievance directly with the State Government concerned. 3. Here, it is stated that the distribution of electricity in States UTs is regulated by the concerned State Electricity Regulatory Commission of the concerned State Government as per the Electricity Act, 2003. Further, the subject matter relating to functioning of Power Energy department or board or corporations and power distribution companies of States UTs comes under the purview of concerned State Government UT Admn.. As such, it is advised to approach the concerned State Govt. UT Admn or their Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum Electricity Regulatory Commission directly in the matter. French phrase la principle de legalite i.e. a Government based on the principles of law and not of men. This is challenge of your applicant that Executive Engineer ,EDD II ,Mirzapur may prove it that meter installed in my compound is defective by taking recourse of which ,he is providing normative bills. If your applicant is wrong ,then he may be sent to jail at once otherwise Executive Engineer be dismissed from the service as he tortured physically ,mentally and economically your applicant. Hon’ble Sir ,data is available to UPPCL as meter reading was made by its staff in each month. Whether this data is not credible for Executive Engineer as he is providing normative bills by floating all rules and regulations and violating basic frame work of constitution.  With due respect your applicant wants to draw the kind attention of the Hon’ble Sir to the following submissions as follows. 1-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that rule of law requires the government should be subject to law, rather than the law subject to the government. But here in the Government of Uttar Pradesh ,there is sheer anarchy. I challenge that Executive Engineer , EDD II may prove that my meter installed in my compound is defective. Last bill your applicant had deposited under protest but they didn’t care my grievances. Your applicant has sought information regarding the action taken on the letters of chief minister office by the UPPCL but they violated the provisions of Right to Information Act 2005. Hon’ble Executive Engineer ,EDD II Mirzapur acts in schizophrenic way.

  2. If managing director is not taking seriously the letters of uttar pradesh chief minister office ,then this act certainly damage the image chief minister office. Managing director uttar pradesh power corporation limited is the subordinate and not complying the issued direction is the matter of grave concern. This act is tantamount to anarchy and action must be taken against the managing director.
