Income tax services unit unnecessarily harass PAN Card applicants. Think about the gravity of situation that they have parrot reply document and each applicant is harassed by sending this document through e-mail. With due respect your appellant wants to draw the kind attention of the Hon’ble Sir to the following submissions as follows. 1-It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that please take a glance of following e-mail sent by PAN Card unit of income tax department of Government of India. PAN Application – ack. No. N-881030141938973 dated : 11/03/2016 Dear Sir / Madam, We refer to your abovementioned application PAN application documents received from you on March 18, 2016. On verification of your application and PAN application documents, the following discrepancy(ies) is/are observed by us: Photograph provided is not proper for scanning. (Photo folded/ Photo with dark specs/ Small size of Photograph/ Photo Stapled/ Faint Photo/side face photo).  We request you to kindly submit recent colour photograph (3.5 cm *2.5 cm) on a separate paper. Please do not sign across this photo. On one side of screen , accountable public functionaries talk of reform ,but on other side of screen itself supporting the wrongdoing by keeping their mouth shut on the discrepancies of this crippled system.

It is submitted before the Hon'ble Sir that whether any action taken by the concerned on the following submitted grievance , if not taken ,then what is the cause of lackadaisical approach and procrastination on the part of public functionaries?   2. PAN card is the means to earn back door income by the corrupt public functionaries. Whether our public functionaries are performing their duties honestly ,then what is cause of mass resentment among citizenry. Think about the gravity of situation that when one PAN card can't be afforded, how honesty in the system can be ensured by our public functionaries.

  3. PAN card is already a subject of deep-rooted corruption for the central government but it is unfortunate that no reformatory steps were taken by the concerned public functionaries to stop such corrupt practices quite obvious from the lackadaisical approach of the concerned public functionaries.
