Hon’ble Sir. With due respect your applicant wants to
apprise you Hon’ble Sir about a news item published in Amar Ujala
daily on 10 september 2011 in Mirzapur news and wants to know some
thing as follows. It is submitted before the Hon’ble Sir that
according to news item, on thursday in front of F.C.I. Store House at
Patharahiya, an employee of franchisee of electricity department
climbed on the pole to connect hightension wire after taking shutdown.
During this period, an employee of the department started the suply of
electricity and caused him to convert into spherical flame on the
pole. Consequently poor lineman died because of current. Kinsmen of
the victim demanding to lodge an F.I.R. but police men are trying to
pacify them. S.D.M. Sadar declared to provide Rs 20000. 00 financial
assistance from national family benefit scheme. Excutive engineer
provided Rs10000. 00 on behalf of electricity department for last
rite. Here this question arises that whether
this meagre amount is sufficient for those bereaved. Whether Hon’ble
state human rights commission can not direct government of uttar
pradesh to provide appropriate compensation to the bereaved by taking
suimoto cognizance of the matter. This is my humble request to
you Hon’ble Sir to do some thing for bereaved family if Hon’ble
commission can do. This request is based on humantarian ground.
Yours sincerely Yogi M. P. Singh Moh-Surekapuram,

Hon’ble Sir. With due respect your applicant wants to
draw the kind attention of Hon’ble Sir towards terrible death of a
lineman due to high voltage current flowing in hightension wire who
was working in the department of electricity, Mirzapur as a private
assistant. Now a days department of electricity is taking work of the
department from unemployed local youth by providing meagre amount as
emoluments of salary. As well as department does not keep records of
such employees and in case of casualty department categorically
denies to accept such employees as their staff. Since they are
vulnerable as they can be easily expelled from the service even
without adopting any legal proceedings so they are used for highly
risky job of the department and in fear of losing job and facing
hunger with the entire family, they are always prepared to face any
risk even it may be danger of life. In this case, upper half of entire
body was terribly burnt and separated from the rest of body, fell down
to ground and remaining half was hanging with the support of pole and
wire. Here is the detail of accident as follows. Place-Near
village-Barevan in Bharehatha, during providing connection from pole
of installed transformer to brick kiln. Police station- Chunar
Kotwali. Date-19.10.2011 Address of victim- Name-Nand Lal
Father’s name-Shyam Ji (belongs to oppressed class) Age- 32 years
Vill-Barevan Police Station-Chunar Kotwali Dist-Mirzapur State-Uttar
Pradesh Country-INDIA. This is humble request of your
applicant to you Hon’ble Sir to direct appropriate authority to curb
such accidents taking place due to negligance of department and askfor
maintenance to bereaved family. For this your applicant shall ever
pray you Hon’ble Sir. Yours Sincerely. Yogi
This is humble request of your applicant to you Hon’ble Sir that It can never be justified to overlook  the rights of citizenry by delivering services in arbitrary manner by floating all set up norms. This is sheer mismanagement which is encouraging wrongdoers to reap benefit of loopholes in system and depriving poor citizens from right to justice. Therefore it is need of hour to take concrete steps in order to curb grown anarchy in the system. For this your applicant shall ever pray you Hon’ble Sir.
                           ‘Yours  sincerely
