Equality before the law, also known as equality under the lawequality in the eyes of the law, or legal equality, is the principle under which all people are subject to the same laws of justice (due process).[1] The belief in equality before the law is called legal egalitarianism. Laws raise important and complex issues concerning equality, fairness, and justice.
Article 7 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that “All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law.”[1]
According to the United Nations, this principle is particularly important to the minorities and to the poor.[1]
Thus, the law and the judges must treat everyone equally before the law regardless of their racegendergender identitynational origincolorethnicityreligiondisability, or other characteristics, without privilegediscrimination, or bias.Pasted from <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equality_before_the_law>
Hon’ble Sir-Article 6 of U.D.H.R. states that every one has right to recognition every where as a person before the law. But even citizens are deprived from this right in this country.
Article 7 of U.D.H.R. states that all are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination equal protection of law .All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in the violation of this declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination.
Article 8 of U.D.H.R. states that every one has right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for the acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.
Whether our constitution quotes that if rape victim may knock the door of competent authorities then such government functionaries may adopt dilly dallying practice on such complaints so that existing evidences may be automatically be annihilated.
This is humble request of your applicant to you Hon’ble Sir that please direct concerned police to act swiftly so that victim may get justice . For this your applicant shall ever pray you Hon’ble Sir.
                                                     Yours sincerely

  2. Think about the gravity of the situation that even public places are not safe and accountable functionaries don't want to come out from their air conditioned rooms. Whether this is not frightening situation. Whether law breakers ever think about punishment may be awarded under law. They know that there are too much loopholes and which can easily save them.
