Whether prime minister jan dhan scheme is not monitored by prime minister office . But all the subordinate offices are supervised by PMO.

 Sir referred account No.34645721675 was opened {SB TINY-OD-GEN-PUB IND-ALL-INR}
with product code [1611-1411]
This type of account is devised in
SBI for mass rural public of country, having no accounts anywhere, most of them illiterate
and poor
,
even it is based on bio-metric
operation with limited amount, to avoid complication of using voucher’s etc. As
the SMS facility is based
on multi mobile service
provider’s, they charge for it, and ultimately it will shift to the poor
customer’s, SMS facility is not enabled
with this product. In addition to
this, Rupay Debit Card issued with above product, is also having limited
transactions merchant  facilities.
 Therefore we request you to please open a normal
saving account and enjoy multiple platform of banking like Saving Plus,
Internet Banking, Mobile Banking etc.

Grievance Description : Whether S.B.I. Will encroach the consumer rights of a consumer merely on the ground that account was opened under prime minister jan dhan scheme as obvious from the letter of branch manager of State bank of India ,Mirzapur city branch. Hon’ble Sir-Aforesaid bank manager sent a registered letter to your applicant on 23/09/2015 having subject -concerned with the S.M.S. Facility which is based on conversation on my Mobile by branch manager itself. His conclusion is that my account is opened under prime minister jan dhan scheme so my mobile no.7379105911 can’t be registered on my account number. The scanned copy of the letter is attached with this representation attached in PDF form. Here this question arises that why did SBI make available the Debit card no. ? Why this message was sent to your applicant by S.B.I. “Better Tracking and control-please register your mobile number to get S.M.S. Alerts for all transactions. You are welcome to enjoy these benefits”? Again read the message sent to your applicant as follows- Dear state bank customer, Welcome to a world where convenience and trust is a way of life. Welcome to the state bank financial inclusion Debit card offered to you in association with RuPay . You can now withdraw cash at ATMs .shop ,fill fuel ,dine out and do lots with your state bank financial debit card. Now keep your cash in your state bank account and earn interest ,instead of keeping in your wallet. Enjoy the benefits and privileges on your state bank Financial debit card. Many more facilities which was assured to be provided chief general manager to your applicant now withheld by branch manager in the name of I opened the account under Prime Minister Jan Dhan scheme. This is humble request of your applicant to you Hon’ble Sir that It can never be justified to overlook  the rights of citizenry by delivering services in arbitrary manner by floating all set up norms. This is sheer mismanagement which is encouraging wrongdoers to reap benefit of loopholes in system and depriving poor citizens from right to justice.
