Sir/Madam,
Based on my email sent to TNPSC on 18-28 Feb 2019 I request TNPSC to cancel the recruitment of Assistant Geochemist
post code 1752 for the service code 029 in Tamil Nadu Engineering Service for Ground water wing of Public Works Department with Geology qualification. G.O N MS 141dated 24-08-16 is not a rational decision to disqualify the chemistry graduates completely in the recruitment for technical posts. I suggest them to recruit suitable candidates from Department of Geology and Mining for the suitable candidates who are having chemistry qualification and geology work background. These government servants work in the said department are not involved in any chemical work after severe flood in the recent years and supporting only the departmental geologists for past few years. These staff members are suitable for the requirements asked by the Chief Engineer in the mentioned G.O.141.The chemists are involved in various nontechnical jobs for the support of geologists in interpreting data and geological support. So the government can make use of them in PWD for chemical analysis and interpret the findings. The well qualified chemists can be transferred to PWD are three chemists and two senior chemists. The chemists submitted already for the transfer to their Director. So the total vacancies called for vacancies in PWD are five and it can be fulfilled by cancelling this direct recruitment and follow the recruitment by transfer. I recommend TNPSC to cancel this recruitment and transfer the chemists from department of the geology and mining to PWD by recruitment transfer.
Dr SUDALAI KUMAR

They must invite the suggestions for the setting up eligibility criteria for the various post in order to ensure proper selection of candidate.

In this era of corruption every corrupt public functionary manages to issue notification through his senior rank officers but such corrupt practice cannot be instrumental in the development of country because in this way wrong practices are promoted which must be curbed at any cost. Now a days election rhetoric word is too much popular in our society because our political Masters tell lies to electorates during the election time which is termed as election rhetorics such undignified manner must be curbed in order to save the dignity of this largest democracy in the world.
