Contents of the appeal
From the following status of the submitted RTI application, the appellant submitted the online RTI application on 14th December 2023 which was disposed of 13th April 2024 by uploading corrupt documents on the RTI portal by the public information officer but this document in corrupt format is not opening in the browser and error messages are showing on the RTI portal of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is noticeable that the concerned Village development officer did not provide the information physically so the appellant is still deprived of the information.

Think about the gravity of the situation, after more than 4 months the public information officer uploaded the corrupt document on the RTI portal of the Government of Uttar Pradesh which is a mockery of the provisions of Right to information act 2005.
Right information act 2005 was introduced by the government of India to promote transparency and accountability in the working of the public authorities but public information officers are not providing information to the information seekers because they want to conceal the information from the public because of the fear of being exposed to the public.
This is a humble request of the applicant to the most respected sir to direct the public information officer to provide the information to the appellant and take disciplinary action against the public information officer for violating the subsection 1 of section 7 of The Right to information act 2005.

* Description of Information Sought The matter concerns the village development officer village and post-Nibi Gaharwar development block- Chhanbey, District-Mirzapur, Pin Code 231303. The matter comes under the supervision of block development officer Chhanbey District- Mirzapur. The information seeker is seeking information from village development officer Nibi Gaharwar.
Public information officer in the office of block development officer Chhanbey district- Mirzapur may provide the following information to the information seeker point wise as follows.
1- Public information officer may provide the estimates of the developmental schemes executed in the village panchayat- Nibi Gaharwar, development block- Chhanbey, district-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh in the last three years.
2- Public information officer may provide the distribution of government funds in the developmental schemes executed in the village panchayat- Nibi Gaharwar, development block- Chhanbey, district-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh in the last three years.

It is quite obvious that entire developmental works in the village panchayat Nibi Gaharwar is being carried out on papers only and reports are being prepared at the block level by sitting in the office which is a precarious situation, and such practices must be stopped. It is most unfortunate that not a single wall painting has been done in the village panchayat Nibee Gaharwar concerning developments which means government circular concerning wall painting was not followed to conceal the corruption committed in development.
