* Prayer or Relief Sought From the following status of the submitted online RTI application, it is quite obvious that the appellant submitted the RTI application on 30th June 2024 which is as such because nodal officer Mr Sanjay Kumar Gupta did not take any action on this online rti application which is a mockery of the provisions of right to information act 2005.

It is quite obvious that because of the rampant corruption in the working of the public authority concerned public information officers nodal officers are not abiding by provisions of right to information act because they do not like transparency and accountability in the working of public authority otherwise corruption in the working of public authority will decrease and their pockets will not be filled by corrupt money.
Right to information act 2005 was introduced by the government of India during the regime of Congress to promote transparency and accountability in the working of the public authorities but it is most unfortunate that even after 19 years of the implementation of this act no information is not being provided by the public authorities to the information seekers which is not good signal in the direction of the implementation of the act.
Public Authority Commissioner Transport has not introduced the right to information act 2005 in its working which is quite obvious from the inactivity of the nodal officer of the department on the RTI portal of the government of Uttar Pradesh.
Think about the gravity of the situation. Month of July has passed and the concerned public information officer did not provide information to the information seeker. It is 9th August 2024 which means nodal officer and public information officer committed violation of subsection one of section 7 of the right to information act 2005 which stipulates to provide information to the information seeker within 30 days from the date of receipt of the RTI application in the office of public authority.
This is a humble request of the appellant to the most respected Sir to direct the concerned public information officer to provide information to the information seeker at the earliest and initiate disciplinary proceedings against the public information officer and nodal officer who are making mockery of the provisions of right to information act 2005.
