* Description of Information Sought The information seeker is the authorised representative of aggrieved Dayanand Singh S/O late Shobhnath Singh village Nibi Gaharwar post Nibi Gaharwar, District-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh pin code 231303.
Executive engineer electricity distribution division 2nd Mr Manish Kumar Srivastava through his communication dated 9th July 2024 again asked for a report of the Tehsil. According to him, for compensation, assessment of estimates and approval must be done by district magistrate or sub divisional magistrate of damages which must be served by the aggrieved applicant Dayanand Singh to the executive engineer. Sir, the report of 15 June 2021 which was prepared by the concerned Lekhpal and sent to your service by the concerned Revenue Inspector, that report of Tehsil Sadar is attached with this as the second page of the attached PDF document Area of wheat crop burnt-0.4990 hectare, damages assessed by Lekhpal and revenue inspector-Rs.25200 This sanctioned paper was forwarded by Revenue Inspector on 19 June 2024 in the service of executive engineer electricity distribution division 2nd along with requisite records. Public information officer must provide the following information point wise as follows.
1- Right to reason is an indispensable part of the sound administrative system so the executive engineer must provide the reason to reject the approval letter sent by the revenue inspector to his service attached as a second page of pdf document.
2- Public information officer must provide the provisions of law which allows Dayanand Singh to sort out the defects of the letter of compensation amount sent to the executive engineer by the office of sub divisional magistrate.
3- More than three years passed but the executive engineer did not get the defects in the letter of compensation amount rectified so public information officer must provide information about the efforts made by the executive engineer to remove the defects with the office of sub divisional magistrate.
4- Public information officer must provide the proforma passed by the UPPCL in which letter of sanction of compensation amount must be served in the service of executive engineer by the D.M./S.D.M.
5- Please provide the guidelines issued by UPPCL to the district magistrate and subdivisional magistrates regarding the approval of the compensation amount of the farmers to serve to executive engineers whose crops are burnt due to short circuit.
Provide information within stipulated 30 days as prescribed under subsection 1 of section 7 of the right to information act 2005.
