Most respected sir, one and half months passed and concerned public information officer did not provide information to the information seeker which means public information officer violated the subsection one of section 7 of the right to information act 2005 which prescribes to provide information within a stipulated 30 days.
Right to Information Act 2005 was introduced by government of India to promote transparency and accountability in the working of public authorities and this act was published in 2005 and it is 2024 which means 19 years passed but most unfortunate thing is that public information officers are not providing information within stipulated 30 days which is a mockery of the provisions of the right to information act 2005.
Concerned PIO DGMH Karmik Section Designation Joint Director
It is most surprising that a public staff Whose rank is of joint director does not know the prescribed time to provide information to the information seekers is a matter of serious concern and I think that accountable staff of the government must meditate on it.
To ensure transparency and accountability in the government machinery, this act was introduced so that growing corruption in the government machinery could be controlled, but instead of controlling the corruption of government machinery the rampant corruption in the government machinery itself diluted the provisions of right to information act 2005.
This matter not only concerns the private practice of a government doctor but also concerns the human rights violation of a vulnerable lady who was mistreated under the bad supervision of a government doctor is a matter of serious concern. The Joint director of the Department of medical and health is procrastinating on such a serious issue.
