Pramod Kumar Maurya

Regards Pramod Kumar Maurya Operation Manager Indian Oil Corporation Limited Eastern Region Pipelines Prayagraj

For more details, please take a glance of the first page of the attached PDF document to the grievance.

It is quite obvious that the matter concerns the working of the ministry of petroleum and natural gas and the staff of the ministry Mr Pramod Kumar Maurya replied to the grievance without application of mind. According to him the matter has been forwarded to the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Here this question arrives that whether the safety of the pipelines laid down by the ministry of petroleum is the obligatory duty of state government or its safety must be ensured by the ministry of petroleum and natural gas to keep secure the pipelines laid down by the ministry or through its sister concern.

Think about the gravity of the situation, the government of Uttar Pradesh is procrastinating on this matter concerning the safety of the majority of people for several months. How can construction made on pipelines may be justified which may cause havoc to a large number of people if leakage may take place.?

The applicant had made the following request in the grievance as follows.

Please provide the current status of the proceedings done by the department regarding the following reports concerning the violations of notifications issued by the government and construction by the unlawful elements in the danger zone which may cause a hazardous effect.

In the similar matter, when the applicant was installing hand pump, then swift action was taken by the personnel of the department and now they are adopting a lackadaisical approach reflecting the biased approach of the department.

Article 14 of the constitution of India-Everyone is alike before the law and everyone has equal protection of the law but in this case, there is partiality quite obvious from the procrastination of the department. Why was the line of demarcation not decided earlier when the concerned took swift action?
