* Description of Information Sought In Ballia of Uttar Pradesh, the joint action of ADG and DIG in the case of illegal extortion from trucks created panic in the police department. The officials raided the Narhi area at night and caught many policemen and brokers involved in the extortion on the spot. During this, some bribe-takers managed to escape. After this incident, the Yogi government transferred the SP and Additional SP of Ballia on Thursday. Also, the Deputy SP (Sadar) was suspended. Not only this, orders were also given for a vigilance inquiry of the property of the accused policemen involved in this extortion scam i.e. CO, SHO, outpost in-charge and others. The public information officer in the office of director general of the police government of Uttar Pradesh must provide the following information point wise to the information seeker as follows.
1-It is quite obvious that In Ballia of Uttar Pradesh, the joint action of ADG and DIG in the case of illegal extortion from trucks, a corrupt syndicate of the police was exposed.
The public information officer may provide the action taken in the matter on the part of the office of the director general of the police.
2- Everyone knows that punitive action is taken in this largest democracy in the world after completion of an inquiry set up by the competent authority.
Please provide the details of the team members of the enquiry committee appointed for the purpose to carry out enquiry in this huge scam of extortion.
3-Whether this special drive against corruption has been launched by the office of chief minister government of Uttar Pradesh or it is being carried out by the office of director general of police itself to build up the clean image of the police.
Please provide the copy of the communications exchanged with the office of chief minister by the office of director general of police in this matter.
