* Prayer or Relief Sought From the following status it is quite obvious that RTI application was received in the office of public authority on 20th December 2023 which was forwarded by the nodal Officer to the concerned public information Officer on 29th December 2023. It is quite obvious that two months 25 days passed, but it is most unfortunate that the concerned public information Officer did not provide any information to the information seeker which is a mockery of the provisions of right to information act 2005.

Right to information act 2005 was introduced by the government of India during the regime of Congress to promote transparency and accountability in the working of public authorities so that growing corruption in the working of public authorities may be controlled.

After 19 years from the introduction of this transparency act if the public information Officer does not know in how many days he has to provide information to the information seekers then it is failure of the successive governments to implement the right to information act in the working of the public authorities.

Whether it is not reflecting anarchy in the working of the public authority if the representations of the common citizens forwarded by the office of his excellency is put into the dustbin by the officers of the public authority.

If the appellant wants to know the status of the representation forwarded to the public authority with advice note to redress the grievance and intimate the outcome to the complainant, but it is not done by the public authority and RTI applications are put into the dustbin then it is clear cut signal of rule of anarchy in the working of the public authority.

This is a humble request of the appellant to the first appellate authority to direct the public information Officer to provide the information to the information seeker at the earliest and the act of the public information Officer tantamount to indiscipline and the public information Officer violated the subsection one of section 7 of the right to information 2005 so action must be taken against the public information Officer.
