* Ground For Appeal Provided Incomplete,Misleading or False Information
((Description of Information sought (upto 500 characters) )
* Prayer or Relief Sought It is quite obvious that public information Officer in the office of superintendent of police district Mirzapur instead of providing information to the information seeker he provided an inconsistent report of the sub inspector concerning a brief story of the matter instead of touching the grievance submitted by the applicant to the office of president of this country which was forwarded to the chief secretary government of Uttar Pradesh concerning the criminal assault on the applicant and his family members which was to be considered by the police under the appropriate section of the criminal procedure code.
This is a humble request of the appellant to the first appellate authority in the office of superintendent off police district Mirzapur to provide the consistent information under 4 points as follows.
President Secretariat presidentofindia@rb.nic.in Thu, Jun 23, 2022 at 12:31 PMTo: CHIEF SECRETARY OFFICE GOVT OF UP csup@nic.inCc: myogimpsingh@gmail.com
Sir/Madam attached please find for appropriate attention an email petition addressed to the President of India which is self-explanatory. Action taken on the petition may please be communicated to the petitioner directly. Regards. आर. के. शर्मा R. K. Sharma, Officer on Special Duty, President Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, More details are attached in PDF form.
PIO in the office of chief secretary in the government of Uttar Pradesh may provide the following information point wise as sought.
1-Name and designation of the staff processing such emails in the office of chief secretary in the government of Uttar Pradesh.
2-Provide the mechanism to process the communication forwarded by the office of His excellency.
3-Provide the action taken report on the trail mail of the information seeker forwarded by the office of His excellency.
4-Since the matter concerns deep rooted corruption, lawlessness and anarchy so before disposing of the grievance, concerned mandate must invite arguments of information seeker before filing the matter arbitrarily consequently if any such facility available, you should provide feedback.
The right to information act was introduced by the government of India to promote transparency and account ability in the working of the public authorities but it is most unfortunate that the public information Officer is running away from the core issue of providing in formation instead he is providing arbitrary and inconsistent report in the matter as usually done by the police personnel in the matter of criminal cases which is the root cause of this anarchy in the working of the police.
It is quite obvious from the reference that this matter has passed through the office of the President of India, chief secretary of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, principal home secretary of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, home secretary of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, director general of police government of Uttar Pradesh and then it reached to the office of the superintendent of police district Mirzapur but it is most unfortunate that public information Officer in the office of superintendent of police took it negligently which reflects the mockery of the law and mockery of the provisions of right to information act 2005 as well.
