Grievance Description

Excutive officer municipality Mirzapur City must entertain.

Staff of the municipality Mirzapur City is neither cleaning choked drainage nor brooming lanes in Surekapuram colony and most surprising thing is that in the report they always say that brooming is done regularly and there is no choked drainage in municipality Mirzapur City whether it is not mockery of law of land?

According to Amar Ujala Daily published on today-

700 sweepers, 38 hand held machines, still no spraying of pesticides

Mirzapur. Due to lack of regular cleaning, heaps of garbage have formed at many places in the city area. Due to this, the incidence of mosquitoes is also increasing. Despite the increasing incidence of mosquitoes, the municipal administration is not doing fogging and spraying pesticides.

There is filth/dirt at many places in the city area specially Pakka Pokhara, Purani Dashami, Station Road, Sabari, Natwa, Chandradeepa etc. There is no locality in the municipality where there is no heap of garbage. Mosquitoes are increasing due to lack of cleanliness.

Last time there was an outbreak of dengue in Pakka Pokhara ward. In most of the houses, family members were affected by it. Despite this, vigilance is not being taken.

Dumped garbage on Laldiggi Road.

Due to lack of regular cleaning, garbage piled up at many places in the city.

The municipality has three fogging machines and 38 hand held machines for spraying pesticides in all 38 wards. Despite this, pesticides are not being sprayed. Due to this the problem is increasing.

Tractor on Baria Ghat Road and garbage thrown nearby.

700 sanitation workers are deployed in 38 wards, Mirzapur. Nearly 700 cleaning staff /sweepers in 38 wards of Mirzapur Municipality employees are deployed. This includes regular, temporary and contract workers. Along with this, four sanitation inspectors have also been deployed. However, many times the councilors of some wards complained that less sweepers were deployed as per the population of their ward. Despite this, proper attention is not being paid to the cleanliness system. Zonal in-charge Jatashankar Singh says that there is no problem of cleanliness in the municipality area. Where there are complaints of excessive filth, cleaning campaigns are conducted.

Zonal incharge of municipality Mr Jatashankar Singh claims that fogging is being done continuously. The machine was definitely broken, but it has been repaired and is working. Pesticides are also being sprayed.

आवेदनकर्ता का विवरण :शिकायत संख्या:-40019924005201

आवेदक का नाम-Yogi M P Singh, विषय-The applicant is submitting representations to clean the choked drainage, but it is most unfortunate executive officer municipality Mirzapur City is not paying attention to the representations of the applicant which is a mockery of the law of land which must be rectified by the government of Uttar Pradesh.

I think that the executive officer municipality of Mirzapur City must provide the reason for why water from the drainage overflowing on the road in the Surekapuram colony of district Mirzapur?

Sir, as has been informed earlier by the applicant, till the time your sweeper does not come to clean the street, an application will be sent every day so that your statement can be refuted by the applicant made by you in this false report. It is said that your sanitation workers sweep the streets every day. We say that there is no use in filing false reports. Will the streets be cleaned by filing reports? Cleaning will happen only when your employees are loyal. Thank you, there is no benefit in writing more.

It is very ridiculous that the employee concerned says that he cleans the streets every day but it is even more surprising if he is asked what his name is and is there any mobile number, he should tell how often he has cleaned the streets. Consciousness of everyone will be lost to see such mismanagement.
