Executive engineer EDD II violated section 7(1) of RTI Act 2005 and after appeal Provided misleading information

Information concerning corruption in providing electricity connections by electricity distribution division second must be provided

Sought information. 

1- Public information officer must provide the reason of providing the electricity connection to Preeti W/O Ashok Prasad if in the same premise, connection number 6418848000 is already approved in the name of Mrs. Prabhavati Devi wife of Mr. Ram Avtar resident of Tehsil Road, Mahuwaria, Mirzapur in 01 KW L.G.V. 2 mode. On which electricity bill of Rs. 125794.00 is outstanding. 

2- Public information officer must provide the amount of bribe taken by the Department of electricity district-Mirzapur in providing illegal connection to Preeti W/O Ashok Prasad. I know that this amount is shared by all personnel who sign on the paper before passing an electricity connection.

3- Public information officer must provide the name and designation of the public staff who approved the electricity connection of Preeti W/O Ashok Prasad. 

4- If this illegal work of providing connection to Preeti W/O Ashok Prasad was done due to poverty of the poor applicant and the charity to poor by the government of Yogi Adityanath, then why is the same ground was not followed in the case of Sunita wife of Mr. Mangala Prasad? Please provide the reason for it. 

5- There is rampant corruption in the working of the public authority electricity distribution division second district Mirzapur, public information officer must provide the measures taken by the executive engineer electricity distribution division 2nd to curb it. Please also provide the details of the personnel who inspected the impugned site before providing electricity connection.

* Prayer or Relief Sought From the following status it is quite obvious that RTI application has been transferred by nodal officer, PURVANCHAL VIDYUT VITRAN NIGAM LIMITED to the public information officer Mr Manoj Kumar Yadav, executive engineer electricity distribution division 2nd Mirzapur, but it is noticeable that Manoj Kumari Yadav has been transferred then charge was taken by Mr A. K. Singh and currently at this post Mr Rajesh Kumar is posted so information on the RTI portal of the government of Uttar Pradesh must be updated accordingly. The appellant wants to draw the kind attention of the most respected Sir the official mobile number and the email have not been given in the status of the RTI application so it must also be updated accordingly by pursuing the order passed by the apex court of India regarding such matters. In para 25 in the order passed by Apex Court of India in the case Writ Petition (Civil) No. 360 of 2021 states as follows. All Central and State Ministries shall take steps within a period of one month from the date of this order to compile the email addresses of the Central and State Public Information Officers which shall be furnished to the CIC and to all the SICs, as the case may be. If such information is available in public domain, why not this information is included in the following status of the RTI applications submitted by the appellant.
