It is quite obvious that the matter concerns block development officer development block-Patehara Kalan, district-Mirzapur Uttar Pradesh. But it is most unfortunate that it was replied by the following public information officer-

It is quite obvious that 15 developmental works carried out by the Department of rural development under the ambit of block development officer development block-Patehara Kalan, district-Mirzapur Which means nodal officer had to forward the matter to district development officer district Mirzapur at the following address.

PIO of Public Authority approached-Mirzapur-DDO, Designation-DDO, Name-Shri Shravan Kumar Rai, Mobile No-9454465108, Email Id: - drda-mir@nic.in, PIN Code-231001.

It is regretting that instead of transferring the RTI application to the concerned mandate under subsection 3 of section 6 of the right to information act 2005, it was wrongly disposed of by the public information officer because of the incompetence to understand the contents of the RTI application.

Here the appellant had sought only two points of information regarding 15 items of development carried out in development block Patehara Kala, District-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.

Public information officer must provide the estimates, invoices and work booklets regarding the following 15 items of development.

The name and resignation of the public staff under whose supervision these 15 points works were executed, must be provided by the block development officer development block-Patehara Kalan, district-Mirzapur.

REQUEST REJECTED as on 07/02/2024.

Reason for Rejection: - Rule 4(2)(b)(i), Rule 4(2)(b)(ii).

Remarks: -. The information sought should not involve fresh collection of non-available data which is not required to be maintained under any law or the rules or regulations of the public authority; or
