The matter concerns executive engineer electricity distribution division second, Mr Rajesh Kumar, Fatha, District-Mirzapur and S.H.O. anti-power theft police station District-Mirzapur.

An application under Article 51 A of the constitution of India regarding the recovery status rupee is Rs.2,17,746.00 from Dileep Singh S/O Raghuvar Dayal Singh resident of village Kothra Kantit post Srinivas Dham district Mirzapur. For more details, vide attached document to the grievance.

The following representation under the transparency act has been also transferred by the Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam limited to the executive engineer electricity distribution division second but he did not entertain this communication.

वि0वि0ख0 - द्वि0 (मी0) / दिनांक 12-5-23 Superintending Engineer Electricity Distribution Board, Mirzapur. Regarding the complaint made by Shri Kamlesh Singh resident of village Kothra Kanit, Post- Srinivasdham, Development Block Chanvey, District- Mirzapur through PG Portal Reference No. 60000230085071 that the premises of the complainant were examined by the Police Enforcement Team, Mirzapur on 02.09.2021. After investigation, irregularities related to electricity theft were found on the premises of the complainant, in the wake of which an FIR has been lodged by the Police Enforcement Team, Mirzapur under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act 2003 at the Anti-Power Theft Police Station, Police Station - Mirzapur.

In the matter, revenue as electricity fee to be charged from Dileep Singh Rs.187746.00 decided provisionally and its recovery fee Rs.30000 thus total collection of revenue to be realised from Dileep Singh S/O Raghuvar Dayal Singh is Rs.217746.00.

As far as the charge sheet has been sent to the court or not asked by the complainant, it is to be informed that this information pertains to the Anti-Theft Police Station, Mirzapur.

After investigation, irregularities related to electricity theft were found in the premises of the complainant, in the wake of which an FIR has been lodged by the Police Enforcement Team, Mirzapur under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act 2003 at anti-power theft police station.

Provide the following information to the applicant.

1- Provide a copy of the First Information Report registered by the Police Enforcement Team Mirzapur.

2- The applicant should be provided information about what charge sheet has been filed by the police in the above case, then he should provide a copy of the charge sheet filed on which date.

3- Provide the post and name of the investigating officer and posting details in the above case.

4- Police Enforcement Team Mirzapur should provide the current status of the action being taken in the above case.

5- Police Enforcement Team should provide details of the total action taken in the last financial year in the case of electricity theft in District-Mirzapur.
