Grievance Description
Here our main focus is on the prevailed corruption in the working of Electricity Distribution Division II Mirzapur currently working under the supervision of Executive Engineer A.K. Singh who overlooks the entire R.T.I. requests forwarded by the office of Managing Director, Prvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited. All the cases of theft of electricity are overlooked even after registering the F.I.R. in the matter. There is no transparency and accountability in the working of Executive Engineer A.K. Singh and most surprising is that he never picks up the calls made on his C.U.G. Mobile number specially given to pay heed to the problems of the consumers. Everyone knows that there is large-scale theft of electricity in the EDD II Mirzapur because of the leniency and cryptic dealings of the concerned staff. Grievance Concerns To Name Of Complainant Yogi M. P. Singh Date of Receipt 19/09/202 Received By Ministry/Department Uttar Pradesh. Here raised question does concern to remove open wire only but also concerns with deep-rooted corruption, arbitrariness and tyranny in the working of the public authority Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited. Since the last year, in various communications, subordinates of executive engineer EDD II informed the applicant that as soon as revamp will commence, the open wire will be removed but right now newly posted executive engineer denied removing the 10 metres open wire which is not only illegal but against the setup standards of dealings prescribed to public staff. The demand of the applicant is to carry out an enquiry into the matter of why the 10 metres wires were left open by the concerned staff. Undoubtedly, there was a plan to replace the entire open Aluminium wires with the cables but they left 10 metres because of their corrupt dealings. Whether it does not reflect the deep-rooted corruption in the working of Executive Engineer EDD II ipso facto? Whether such deep-rooted corruption in government can be addressed as good governance as a number of occasions done by Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Damodar Modi.
It is quite obvious that Executive Engineer EDD II, Superintending Engineer and Chief Engineer of division Mirzapur repeatedly overlook the directions of the managing director, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited Varanasi which is ridiculous and quite obvious from the attached documents to the grievance. Neither they are providing information nor redressing the grievances is the matter of main concern.
The factual position is that sought information concerns corruption in the working of the public authority, so the public information officer is running away from providing information to the information seeker. They know well that if they provide information, their corrupt deeds will be exposed to the public, consequently, they are avoiding providing sought information to the information seekers.
Sir, accountability also has some importance in public dealings. To remove 10-metre open wire, you are waiting for a revamp scheme i.e. improvement plan, Sir, why do not you want to know about the corruption due to which the 10-metre open wire was left out, are you doing this? Will you throw light on the matter that if the open wire of the entire mohalla was removed, then why was it left in front of the temple, what is the enmity of your department and the government with Laxmi Narayan Baikunth Mahadev Temple?
