* Prayer or Relief Sought Registration Number DIRLB/R/2022/60010 Name Yogi M P Singh Date of Filing 26/02/2022 Status RTI REQUEST RECEIVED as on 26/02/2022 More than two and half months passed but submitted application under Right to Information Act 2005 is as such. This implies that there is sheer lawlessness and anarchy in the working of the Local Bodies Directorate and its subordinate organizations. Everyone knows that the prescribed time to provide information under subsection 1 of section 7 of the Right to Information Act is 30 days but the concerned nodal officer did not forward the matter to the concerned public information officer / executive officer of the municipality Mirzapur city even after two and half months. It is quite obvious that the public information officer of the directorate Local bodies, Uttar Pradesh took under the teeth the provision of the Right to Information Act 2005 i.e. he violated subsection 1 of section 7 of the Right to Information Act 2005. Think about the gravity of situation that 17 years passed since the date when the Right to Information Act 2005 was introduced by the government of India with the motive to promote transparency and accountability in the working of the public authorities but it is confirmed that because of corruption, corrupt staff of the government made the provisions of the act ineffective. The Transparency ombudsman itself plays a negative role by demoralizing appellants seeking action against wrongdoer public information officers. Penalties imposed on the wrongdoer public information officers are never recovered from their salaries because of rampant corruption in the working of the government of Uttar Pradesh. The need of the hour is to curb the deep rooted corruption with the utmost care and attention.

* Description of Information Sought Public Information Officer municipality Mirzapur city who is also the executive officer of the municipality Mirzapur city may provide the following information to the information seeker regarding the Bathua ward of municipality Mirzapur city . As the departmental heads in the field offices are the Public Information Officers of the such offices.
1-PIO may provide the information of the total development fund provided by the government to Bathua ward of municipality Mirzapur city year wise for the current five years term. a-Estimates of various development schemes. b-Work booklet. c-Total invoices. d-Total fund granted to the aforementioned ward with a description of the scheme. Detail of public staff who monitored the implementation of these works from site inspection to payment.
2-PIO may provide the project details executed by the municipality Mirzapur city through the aforementioned funds as required under point one.
3-PIO may provide the estimates and invoices regarding the projects as sought under point two by the information seeker.
4-Please provide the information regarding voluntary disclosure of information by the municipality Mirzapur city as required under subsection 1b of section 4 of the right to information act 2005. As far as my knowledge is concerned, you did not provide single information under the aforementioned section of the right to information act 2005.
5-Provide the posting details of the class one and class two staff of the municipality Mirzapur city currently working and those transferred in five years.
