Most Honourable Sir, Applicant raised the issue of the arbitrary billings and requested to rectify the bills and now your subordinates rectified it after the interference of chief minister office and managing director of the purvanchal vidyut vitaran nigam limited. 1-Concerned staff rectified the bill after installing the electric meter in the premises of Late Rajendra Pratap Singh and meter reading which was less than 50 units in one month. 2-This implies that to curb arbitrary billings, installation of the electric meters in the premises of the consumers are a must. It must be noticed that no electric meter is installed in the premises of other consumers in the aforementioned village and adjoining villages showing laxity on the part of concerned staff. 3-I think that activism of the department to curb the theft of electricity is quite obvious from the procrastination of the staff concerned so to ask for controlling the huge line loss actually taking place because of theft of electricity is not relevant in this era of corruption. 4-I think that a concerned junior engineer must visit the premises of the consumers which is his obligatory duty and mark at least 10 customers to install electric meters so that a wave to install electric meters in the subdivision area may circulate which will cause less line loss. 5-Whether sub divisional officer can disclose the name of any other customer in whose premises an electric meter is installed, if not everyone knows its best reason?

According to the report submitted by the executive Engineer electricity distribution division second , 20 other connections have the electric metres in their respective premises but the factual position is that not a single electric meter is installed by the concerned department and they submitted the false report on the public grievance portal of the Government of India as well as on the jansunwai portal of the government Uttar Pradesh. It is well known fact that the theft of electricity on the large scale is the prime concern of the Government of Uttar Pradesh but they are not taking any action in the matter and not adopting a logistic approach in redressing the grievances showing the cryptic and mysterious approach of the accountable public functionaries of the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the matter. It is quite obvious that staff of the department of the electricity itself not interested to install the electric metres in the premises of the electricity connection holders.
