T.B. can not be controlled by the government of India

                                 National TB Elimination Board

It is proposed to create an apex body to facilitate policy development, co-ordinate multisectoral involvement and overview the implementation of the strategy to move towards TB elimination. Proposed constituents include Prime Minister as patron, Union Minister Health and Family Welfare as Chairperson, Secretary Health as member secretary with other members including secretaries of related departments, representatives of affected communities, representatives of technical and donor partners, representatives from NGOs etc. Central TB Division will directly report to National TB Elimination Board (NTEB). This will also enable the multisectoral response required for action on the social determinants of TB and its outcomes. c. Re-structure the TB program management structure (detailed in the organogram below) i. Strengthened and empowered CTD: To provide a multi-stakeholder response for managing TB beyond the public health structure, it is proposed to establish a separate independent organization like NACO. ii. Grievance Description
Tuberculosis is a serious ailment and huge fund for its eradication by government and WHO but patient had to return without medication reflects rampant corruption in the working of the public authority.
T.B. needs Urgent medical attention is usually recommended by healthcare providers but here most are busy in enhancing backdoor income through brokers and other corrupt means.
The matter concerns mismanagement of district T.B. hospital and divisional hospital Hajarat Imam Yusuf hospital Mirzapur city. I think that only to say that government of Uttar Pradesh is providing free medication to the patients because one can easily find the brokers who are spread throughout the hospitals aforementioned and those seeking remedy without the help of brokers are physically and mentally tortured.
Most respectfully, the applicant wants to draw the kind attention of the Honourable Sir to the following submissions as follows.
1-My daughter Bhoomika Singh is suffering from Tuberculosis can be dangerous or life threatening if untreated quite obvious from page 2 i.e. report of blood test done by a pathology and Tuberculosis is a contagious infection caused by bacteria that mainly affects the lungs but can also affect any other organ including bone, brain and spine.
2-As soon as the applicant apprised with this serious ailment, I along with my daughter visited district T.B. hospital but Chief Medical Officer was on the routine inspection and entire work was disrupted because both ladies and gents staff were assembled in a room and chatting with the chief medical officer.
3-When applicant made complaint lady staff came and provided the slip attached as the first page of the attached PDF document.
4-Subsequenty applicant visited the Doctor as advised by the lady staff and Doctor asked for X-Ray which was completed in half an hour and observing this X-Ray photographic plate, Doctor had been confirmed about Tuberculosis and he said go to window to take medicines.
5-Applicant along with her daughter again reached for medicine but lady said that there are two more checks written on the slip, one will be carried out in Hajarat Imam Yusuf hospital Mirzapur city and other will will be carried out in this hospital.
6-Applicant along with her sick daughter who was crying because of exhaustion, came to Hajarat Imam Yusuf hospital Mirzapur city and concerned lady staff made the entry in register and suggested to visit pathologist to provide sample in number 125 on first floor. It is most unfortunate that he denied to take the sample as it was 12 O Clock and he used to take sample before 12 o clock and 12 O clock in day up to 5 P.M. he used to do the analysis of the samples. It only frustrated the applicant because tyranny was quite visible on his face and my request could not change his reluctant approach created due cryptic and mysterious working style.
7-Diagnosis of phlegm could not be carried out district T.B. hospital Mirzapur by taking pretext that phlegm must be collected in the early morning and my request that she took only drink of chukandar could not persuade him.
Finally applicant returned at 12:30 in frustration without medication which only frustrated us.
On the one side of screen, government and WHO is spending huge amount for the eradication of the tuberculosis but on the other side of screen corrupt public functionaries are busy in filling their own pockets by overlooking the interest of the needy people.

  3. Undoubtedly it reflects the complete lawlessness and anarchy of the Yogi Adityanath government in the state of Uttar Pradesh where no facilities are available to the patients of tuberculosis. We are far away from the basic amenities provided by the government because of the corruption.
