LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government Thursday allocated Rs 1,200 crore for a scheme for girls and Rs 612 crore for stray cattle and construction of cow shelters in the Budget for 2019-20 financial year ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. Rs 247.60 crore has been allocated for maintenance and construction of cow sheds in the Uttar Pradesh Budget year 2019-20. Rs 200 crores has been allocated for upkeep of stray cattle in the Uttar Pradesh Budget year 2019-20. A provision of Rs 40 crore has been made to set up impounding houses/cattle shelter homes under the 'Kanha Gaushala Evam Besahara Pashu Ashraya Yojna in new budget.

प्राप्त फीडबैक -दिनांक16-09-2021 को फीडबैक:-According to government of Uttar Pradesh, stray animals moving on the roads are caught by the municipality Mirzapur city and there are six staffs for this purpose, but they are sitting idle because of the mismanagement of the department. The stray pigs and stray dogs cannot be caught by them because they have no proper mechanism for it. Stray cows can be caught by them, but they have conditions for it that they must be provided an expert veterinary doctor under whose supervision, they will perform the act of disposing of stray cows which means all the six staffs are drawing salary without performing any duty. Which reflects the mismanagement and tyranny in the municipality, Mirzapur city. It is most unfortunate that government of Uttar Pradesh is providing huge budget to curb the stray animals moving on the roads creating traffic problems to the common people, but all is going in vain. Undoubtedly, they are drawing huge emoluments of salary but not redeeming it to the government because of lack of loyalty to the government. Their loyalty to the government is overshadowed by the greed over dominant in their minds. To achieve the goal of good governance, we have to change the mindset of such people, so that they may redeem the salary drawing from public exchequer through performing their allotted duties.
