* Prayer or Relief Sought Sir everyone knows that stipulated time to provide information under subsection 1 of section 7 of Right to Information Act 2005 is 30 days. Now ipso facto they overlooked it deliberately so action must be taken against the wrongdoer staff. Sir Law is not made to break but to comply. The matter concerns the deep-rooted corruption which cannot be overlooked arbitrarily as being done by the concerned. Undoubtedly, they have violated the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2005. Such mockery of the law of land can never be overlooked. Undoubtedly the situation is grave and reflect the complete anarchy and lawlessness in the government machinery and they are not providing information under right to information act because they have blessings of the government as whatever penalty is imposed by the Uttar Pradesh state information commission is not recovered by the government of Uttar Pradesh which is the root cause of this anarchy.

Whether such information is not available to the government functionaries in Uttar Pradesh or they are avoiding to be exposed in the public domain. Undoubtedly corruption is rampant.

Our motive is good governance and few political Masters are claiming to provide good governance but where is good governance if the rights of weaker and down construction specially tribal women is not reaching to them. Right to Information act 2005 was introduced by the government of India to reduce the the corruption in the public offices but when the the Yogi government will not provide information under right Information act 2005 then how the corruption will reduce in the public offices which implies that there is rampant corruption in the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
ReplyDeleteNow it has been Trend in the Government of Uttar Pradesh not to provide information under right to information act 2005 which is quite obvious from the current post and so many other posts which are showing that not a single information is being provided by the public information officers in the Government of Uttar Pradesh because they want to to conceal the information in the matters concerned with the corruption and so they are concealing the information from the information seekers.

Here this question arises, why did the public information officer not forward the matter to a concerned public information officer to whom sought information was closely connected under subsection 3 of section 6 of the Right to Information Act 2005 instead of denying the information by taking the recourse of such cryptic sentences?
Right to information act 2005 is losing its credibility because of rampant corruption in government machinery and non compliance of its provisions because of the corrupt public functionaries of the government.
ReplyDeleteIt is a fact that government of Uttar Pradesh is not providing even single information under right to information act 2005 because they know that if they will provide information to the information seeker then it will reach into the public domain and their corrupt deeds will be exposed in the public so to avoid the corruption exposure they are avoiding to provide information under right to information act 2005.
Undoubtedly we are facing precarious situation and the need of hour is to control the situation.
