((Description of Information sought (upto 500 characters) )
Prayer or Relief Sought Here date of submitting the R.T.I. Communique is 16/03/2021 and today is 26/06/2021 and this communique is not forwarded by the office of the district magistrate Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi to the concerned. Sir, public information officer concerned must provide within time as stipulated under subsection 1 of section 7 but unfortunately he remained failed. According to the aforementioned provision of Right Information Act 2005, a public information officer has to provide information within the stipulated time of 30 day. This 30 days is counted from the date of receipt of RTI Communique in the office of public authority. Without any doubt, Public Information Officer failed to provide information and did not communicate the reason for not providing information. Action must be taken against the PIO concerned for still not providing information. Violation of provisions of transparency act by the PIO can not be overlooked by the senior rank officer who will entertain this first appeal. Whether it is not a mockery of the law of land and showing the complete lawlessness and anarchy in the government machinery in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Right to Information act 2005 was brought of to promote transparency and accountability in the public offices but it seems that because of corruption its benefits are not reaching to the citizens of this country moreover its provisions are being diluted again and again and by the corrupt public functionaries in this largest democracy in the world which is the outcome of this non-constructive approach and procrastination in providing the information by the Public Information Officers.

It is well known fact that right to information act 2005 was introduced by the Congress LED government at the centre but when BJP headed government came to the power under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi then this government started to dilute the provisions of right to information act 2005 and now the position is that not a single information is being provided under right to information act 2005 quite obvious from the procrastination of the district magistrate sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi. Most surprising thing is that state information commission of Uttar Pradesh is not instrumental in providing the information to the information seekers because of rampant corruption in its offices.
ReplyDeleteHere it is quite obvious that district magistrate sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi took under teeth the provisions of right to information act 2005 but it is unfortunate that in this largest democracy in the world at present no one taking care of violations of the provisions of the right to information act 2005 which consequence is that not a single point information is being provided by the public information officers of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the corruption is reaching at its Zenith.
ReplyDeleteHare district magistrate Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi played very negative role to the provisions of Right to Information act 2005 quite obvious from his cryptic working style as he did not respond to the the application submitted under transparency act which is a mockery of the law of land and showing his ignorance to the provisions of this transparency act.
