Honourable Sir, job of police is to ensure law order in the state but how if it has no faith in the law of land, then what could be done? They know the fact that I know English and Hindi but does not know Marathi. Consequently, they provided voluminous papers in Marathi so that I may not understand their action regarding matter submitted by the information seeker. Here their ulterior motive is quite obvious. They do not want to take action in the cheque bounce matter.
Undoubtedly Maharashtra Police did not provide the information to the information seeker because information seeker was seeking information in English but they provided information in Marathi and most surprising is that information seeker can only understand English and Hindi so when they were well apprised with the fact that information speaker cannot understand Marathi they had to provide the information in the language as information secret had sought in English or in mother tongue Hindi.
Most of the social evils is because of the police in this largest democracy in the world which is quite obvious from the dealings of the Maharashtra police which did not provide the information to the information seeker because they know that information seeker cannot understand the Marathi they provided information in marathi and not complete information.
They must provide the information to the information seeker in English so that information seeker may understand the made available information and may proceed in the matter. Why does the government test eligibility of general Hindi and general English? What a incompetent staffs are selected in the departments of the government.
Our motive is good governance but where is good governance if concerned public functionaries are not providing information under right to information act 2005 and if the appeal is made to the competent authority they are not entertaining the appeal which is a mockery of the law of land and it has been proved fact that there is no honesty in the government machinery.
